Abstract:
Many literatures indicated that silk fibroin had good biodegradability, biocompatibility and regeneration processing performance, it had been received increased attention. Hydrogel was one of the most important formats of regenerated silk fibroin, which had been studied for a lot of biomedical applications, such as growth factor/drug sustained delivery systems and three dimensional cell culture carriers. In this paper, the structure, characteristic and classification of hydrogels were reviewed, the gelation mechanism, modified methods and application status of regenerated silk fibroin hydrogels were illustrated. The research may provide some reference values for properties research and application of regenerated silk fibroin hydrogels
