Abstract:
The somatic data of 104 projects was measured, and 19 measurement items related to breast angle were abstracted based on three dimension scanning data of 267 women at the age from 18 to 35. The data was analyzed with factor analysis method in combination with hierarchical clustering method to obtain the parameters expressing three-dimensional shape characteristics of breast . By upper breast angle () and inside and outside breast angular point/breast depth (), the three-dimensional shape of breast was classified into 9 types from the aspects of human body side and breast detail, and the reference ranges of () and () of each type were obtained. The research result s show that the classification method is useful to describe the three-dimensional characteristics of breast shape directly, so as to provide new parameters for classification of breast shape and a basis for structural design of underwear pattern.
